Kristia Andreou is a well-known Cypriot painter for every art dealer and connaisseur not only in Cypriot and Ukrainian art market but all over the world. We Buy & Sell Art Worldwide are proud to present her art works on our website.

She was born in 1994 on February 19th in Nicosia, Cyprus.

From 2008 up to 2010 she was studying at the Cyprus Academy of Fine Arts, obtaining GCE Fine Art degree.

In the year of 2016 she obtained her Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts at the University of the West of England, Bristol in Larnaca, Cyprus. During the year of 2012 she was studying at the Bulgarian Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia, improving her skills in academic painting. In 2013 - 2018 she qualified as a Master of Fine Arts at the Frederick University in Nicosia, Cyprus on a program based on Contemporary Art Practices.

Curatorial Projects:

2018 - Container-Content, Larnaca Biennale, Larnaca Airport, Cyprus.

2017 - "Sleep in the Deep", Group exhibition, Victoria's garden, Nicosia, Cyprus.

We Buy & Sell Art Worldwide asked Ms. Andreou on what does she concentrates in her artworks.

"As an artist I like to experiment with materials and subjects. My artworks take a critical view of social, political and cultural issues. Also my work is inspired from fairytales, myths, history and of course the human figure and portrait" - she replies.

Kristia is an independent artist who works in different directions from a painting, drawing and plastic anatomy up to performances based on cultural and political conflicts of immigrants in Cyprus and Bulgaria.

Kristia Andreou is an active participant of international exhibitions in Cyprus and around Europe. Her artworks are placed in the private collections in Cyprus, Great Britain and Ukraine.
